SNK P.O.W. Prisoner Of War Sony PSN Review

SNK has been on a role as of late with quality releases on the PlayStation Network for PS3 and Sony PSP gamers alike. One of their latest, P.O.W., puts forth a quality, classic beat-em-up adventure for gamers to enjoy.
P.O.W. - Prisoner of War is based around the story of you in the role of a captured soldier. You have a chance to escape, and you decide to take it. Doing so puts you in a classic arcade scenario.
The entire game is set-up as a beat-em-up side-scrolling adventure title.
You will face off against waves and waves of enemies, acquiring cool and unique weapons along the way.
This is a very fun beat-em-up, and a simple game at that which plays very well on the PS3.
You can immediately jump into action by hitting the Triangle button, and adding as many coins as you would like. Once you start, you will use the X button to kick, the Square button to punch, and the Circle button to jump.
The variety in enemies is pretty strong and the varying difficulty modes keep things fresh.
The game also allows you the ability to hav ea friend jump into the action as well in some co-op, a nice addition for such a value title.
SNK has released a quality little beat-em-up here, and is priced competitively at $2.99, meaning this is easily an impulse purchase. At that price point, there is a lot of fun to be had here, and is well worth the money for classic arcade fans.
