Xbox Europe exec bashes PS3

In an interview with British gaming magazine MCV, head of marketing for Xbox Europe Richard Teversham slammed the PlayStation 3's pricing, stating "I think a lot of gamers out there are going to be saying ‘I’ll wait for the price to drop,’ or even better they’ll buy a 360.” He also warned that Microsoft would have some spoilers ready should Sony actually manage to launch the PS3 in Europe before the end of the year — something Teversham doubts: “On day one they will have pre-sold most of what they’ve got. But the question is, will they actually be able to launch in Europe and if they do, what are the tiny quantities going to be in Europe?" The PS3 is currently scheduled to launch worldwide in November. [via]
