Check this out horror fans! Atari has released some new screen shots and videos of their latest installment to the Alone in The dark Series. Also just a heads up that there will be a PS3 release but has not yet been determined when, so keep yourself in loop and we shall gladly let you know when it will happen. Right here we are going to show you screens of the fire effects inside the game; which I have to admit makes the game very interesting and adds some realism.
So far the effects for the fire elements look stunning and now we have screens of Central Park. That seems to be the big aspect area of the game and as a New Yorker they picked a great spot to execute horror, especially at night. Before I didn't approve of games having too much realism, however when there is some realism mixed in with fantasy elements I do approve. For example the fire situations make those annoying door bosses totally disappear. If there is a wooden door and it is locked you can easily burn right through it if you wanted too. Now certain things like that make a great game. Or in this screen of the burning table.
As the new week approaches Atari has put out some new screens of the horrid central park. I actually want to think twice when walking through at night, but as a New Yorker I should know better already then walk through C.P late at night.
As you can see it has a nice feeling that will make you want to grab your teddy bear or something so you can go to sleep well at night. However to get the full effect of the game check out these videos of what is to come.
