Special White Yakuza PS3 in Japan

Why does Japan get all of the nice things? First there was the always-sexy white psp, which has never officially been released in North America. The PS3, which comes in any color you want as long as it is black, also has multiple color variations in Japan. Now, Sega has announced plans to release an uber-rare special edition PS3 bundle, which combines a white PS3 with some gorgeous Yakuza etchings.

The Yakuza 3 bundle will come with an 80 GB PS3 and a copy of the game for around $495. Lucky customers who manage to snap one of these beauties up will actually save around $21 on the cost of the game. However, it looks like few will be able to find one at the recommended retail price. Sega has plans to produce only 10,000 of these units in Japan. Right now there are no plans to bring this bundle to North America, and Yakuza 3 has not even been given a confirmed Western localization. This might be one for all of you collectors to snag, since rarity is almost certainly assured.
