Sony Europe VP: PS3 to cost 'around 500 Euro'

In a radio interview on a French radio station, SCEE Vice President George Fornay made comments about the upcoming PlayStation 3, saying it will cost 'around 500 Euro, in the range of 499 - 599 Euro. In American dollars, this would set the price somewhere between $612 and $734. Fornay also confirmed that the PS3 would launch in Europe this November, and reiterated claims that the delay was caused by changes in the Blu-Ray's copy protection. No pricing information has yet been released or confirmed by Sony.
