Rumor: The New PS3 Experience

Rumors - they tend to be very reliable at the moment. Just look at how all those PSP Go! rumors leaked months before E3. With all the talk about the forthcoming firmware update 3.0, my spider-sense is telling me that we are going to be hit with a completely new PS3 XrossMediaBar (XMB).
Not a lot of people know this, but the XMB we all know and love - ahem - is the system that was originally designed for the PSP, but Sony thought it a good tool for the PS3 crowd to use as well. I am thinking their approach was, "If it's not broke, don't fix it."
Ideas started flooding in my head and hope is the new emotion which begins to engulf me. There are a few things that, if Sony got right, would improve what will be a great feature - and being free makes it all the sweeter.
If there is going to be a new PS3 interface, here's a few features I would like to see:
Online Game Invites: This seems a little fiddly for me - what we want is a simple push of the ps3 button followed by a mini Friends Menu - invite to game, invite to chat, etc, etc...
Friend List info: This is very basic - we want to know what level they are on. What stage they are on? Whether we can join them or not? You get the idea, right?
Avatars: Let us use our own - let us make our own - please let us be more creative
Comments: Give us more features and more character space.
Feel free to add your ideas people - as you never know who may be watching with their Sony writing pad and Sony ballpoint pen at the ready!

oh i forgot u can burn CD's to HDD but not DVD's sony should fix that

and one more thang psp resisence gave ps3 a way to make all psp games playable with ps3 controller
come on sony make a remoteplay feature 2 play all psp games on TV with dualshock power
please considered trying 2 read ps fan help 2 make a winning station
