Rockstar Delivers GTA IV DLC to PS3
When we predicted that Rockstar would bring its GTA IV DLC to the PS3, there were a lot of disbelievers. One of the holdovers from the last hardware generation is that fanboys still fight jealousy over their own 'exclusive' games. And after all, Micorosoft allegedly paid Rockstar a sum of $50 million to keep any DLC content exclusive to the Xbox 360. However, the reality of the new economy and the video game industry as a whole means that the notion of exclusive releases is soon to come to an end. Rockstar helped to prove our point today by officially confirming the arrival of the Stories from Liberty City DLC on the PS3 and PC platforms this March. For the first time, PS3 and PC gamers will have the opportunity to experience the last two thrilling chapters of the Grand Theft Auto IV saga.
Stories from Liberty City comes on a single disk and does not require the original game to play. The two episodes will also be available for download on the PlayStation Network and Windows LIVE on March 30, 2010. Each episode takes place in the same detailed and immersive world that made Grand Theft Auto IV one of the most critically acclaimed games of all time. All players will experience new songs on the updated soundtrack as featured across Liberty City's 13 radio stations, alongside in-game television and Liberty City's own internet.
Rockstar had very little to say regarding why the content was delayed, but we think that the $50 million probably had something to do with it.
"It's been a long time coming, but we are proud to finally deliver Episodes From Liberty City for the PC and PlayStation 3," said Sam Houser. "We appreciate the patience of our PlayStation 3 and PC fans worldwide, and we look forward to putting the games in your hands this March."
The Lost and Damned is a dark trip through Liberty City's seedy underbelly as outlaw biker, Johnny Klebitz, fights to keep his gang together as a rift in the gang's leadership threatens to tear the brotherhood apart. In The Ballad of Gay Tony, players explore Liberty City's high-end nightlife as Luis Lopez, struggling to balance the temptations of money and vice against loyalties to family and friends. Both episodes feature a slew of new vehicles and weapons, and each episode adds new activities including cage fighting, gang wars and BASE jumping.

Hahahaha to all those 360 fanboys that doubted this just like this guy.
Dr. Jones
The DLC will never be on the PS3. Sorry DT, but you're an idiot. Rockstar has confirmed both DLC packs were 360 exlclusives, and they will not make anymore DLC for the game. Microsoft paid 50 Million $ for the DEVELOPMENT of both DLC packs. If it weren't for the 50 Mil, the DLC would never even exist in the first place.
And last but not least, Microsoft also publised both DLC packs.
Here's another thing: Microsoft made this deal with Rockstar way before the game was even released. Timed exclusive my arse
