Resident Evil Movie Franchise Breathes Again in the Afterlife

Prepare yourself for the afterlife -- Resident Evil: Afterlife, that is. Well, if Milla Jovovich is there to greet me, then it's been a life worth living. Yes, the alluring Resident Evil star makes her return to the big screen.

There were rumors of a fourth Resident Evil movie being written by Paul W.S. Anderson. Now straight from the sexy starlet's mouth, we hear that the team will indeed begin shooting at the end of the year.

Resident Evil has proven to be a surprisingly vital film franchise. The films' storyline is inspired by the games, but over the course of the last three movies, has grown organically into its own beast, so to speak. If the past is any indication, expect another techno soundtrack-filled, action-packed extravaganza sometime in late 2010, early 2011.
