In a report from the Yankee Group, the market research firm says it believes Sony will be leading the market in 2011, having sold 30 million PS3s. According to the report, that number will give Sony a 44% market share, in comparison to the 40% share they expect for the Xbox 360 — with 27 million units sold. Nintendo will lag behind with a 16% share of the market, they believe. They claim that higher prices will be to blame for the overall lower expected sales.
