At the recent Sony Gamer's Day event in San Francisco, the ability to show media from the PS3 on the PSP over an Ad-Hoc WiFi connection was shown, with the ability to access content stored on the PS3 from anywhere being planned for a future rollout. Kotaku's Brian Crecente got in touch with Sony afterwards to get clarification on other topics. Apparently LocationFree TV from the PS3 to the PSP is not being planned, but the ability to use the PSP as a supplemental screen and controller for PS3 games is. In addition, Sony plans to let users play PSOne games downloaded to the PS3 on their PSPs.
