PS3 SIXAXIS controller disassembled

The SIXAXIS controller which will ship with the upcoming PlayStation 3 has been taken apart and photographed. ChinaGBA is responsible for the pictures, which show the controller's insides, including a large chip from Toshiba (which is assumed to be the Bluetooth controller chip for the SIXAXIS), analog stick mechanisms labeled "ALPS," and a rechargeable lithium-ion battery from Sony, who has had widely-reported quality problems with recent batteries.
