PS3 Download Service coming sometime between now and the end of time

You'd think that the PS3, being the multimedia device that it is, would launch with great games and great media to download. Depending on who you ask, Sony either only got it half right or none at all. I figured there were one of two reasons why there weren't movies and music to download from the PSN Store

1) Sony is working on a service, not just for PS3 owners, but for all their properties
2) Sony is horribly incompetent

Thankfully, it's the former rather than the latter that turns out to be true. Sony's hard at work to make sure ALL of their customers get this service. Music, Movies, shows, what more could we ask for? (you know, besides the service launching sometime soon) Kotaku has the full story.
