According to a Chinese language Wealth Group report, chip maker King Yuan Electronics Company should see increased revenues this quarter in part thanks to PS3 chip testing orders that could start as early as next week. The report states that "Sources at equipment makers stated that KYEC has already started testing engineering chipset samples for PS3." Although these rumors are concerned with items of a very technical nature, this is good news for Sony as these are indicators that they are closer to shipping final units to developers for debugging and testing, and that they are closer to being on schedule for the November launch than previously reported.
