PS2: Konami Kids Playground Series Now Available in Stores

Konami Hops Into Education With Interactive Mat Gameplay and a Variety of Mini-Games for Kids Ages 2-5
Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. today announced that Konami Kids Playground for the PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system is now available in retail stores nationwide. Featuring a collection of fun and active games and a game mat designed specifically for young children, the games will get children off the couch and using their feet. Children ages two to five must complete simple mini-games designed to teach basic concepts like the alphabet, numbers, colors and shapes. Konami Kids Playground proves that education can be fun for even the youngest kids, and encourages activity that will keep them moving, laughing and learning.
“Kids are becoming tech-savvy at a much earlier age now, and it is very difficult to find digital content that caters to this younger demographic,” said Anthony Crouts, Vice President of Marketing for Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. “With Konami Kids Playground we are able to provide a fun gaming experience that young children and their parents will have fun with and feel good about.”
