Prototype 2 PS3 Hype Picks Up With Free Bio-Bomb

The Sony PS3 has several big games that are going to be coming down the pipeline in 2012, many of them exclusive to the console. One of the bigger releases of 2012 will be Prototype 2, the sequel to the hit original PS3 title.

There has been a strong level of hype surrounding the sequel to the original open-world action game, which released back in 2009 on the Sony PS3.

The game is in development from Radical Entertainment, and is looking to build on the success of the original by creating a world of action never seen before by gamers.

To help build the hype and anticipation surrounding the release, Radical Entertainment has teamed up with GameStop to put forth a special pre-order bonus to those who decide to order the title early.

GameStop has announced that they will provide an exclusive pre-order bonus for Prototype 2, the Bio-Bomb Butt Kicker ability.

The game will focus around a new infected protagonist, Sgt. James Heller, and by pre-ordering they will unlock this special ability for that character.

This special ability allows you to drop-kick punt enemies across the game, turning them into missiles which will them come down like rain.

If it sounds wild, it truly is, as this is just one of the ridiculous action maneuvers which will be able to be performed in the game.

Prototype 2 is expected to be released on April 24, 2012 and is gearing up to be one of the bigger releases on the PS3 this year.
