Playstation Move Bundles Omit Navigation Controller

No matter which Playstation Move bundle consumers grab this holiday shopping season, they will have to shell out an additional $29 to pick up the Navigation controller, Sony has revealed. There are lots of little bits and pieces needed to put together a functional Move-enabled game system. You will obviously need a PS3 console, at least one Move light ball controller, a Camera, and possibly the navigation controller and some games. The Sixaxis can function as an extra Navigation controller as a pinch, but we can't see ourselves awkwardly holding it in one hand during play. Here are the various hardware bundles that will go on sale this fall:

If you don't yet have a PlayStation 3, the "PlayStation 3 Sports Champion Move Bundle" includes all the pieces, as well as a Sports Champion game and a PlayStation Move game demo disc. This Move bundle will retail for $399.99.

If you already have a PS3 console, but none of the other necessary peripherals, the simply-named "PlayStation Move Bundle," includes a Move controller, PlayStation Eye, Sports Champion game, and the Move game demo disc for $99.99. We expect that this will be the most popular bundle and may sell out early.

Finally, those people who already have everything but the Move controller itself will be able to purchase just the controller for $49.99. No games are included with the controller when purchased this way. Because most gamers will want to pick up at least two full sets of controllers, this could end up being a very expensive fall for early adopters.
