PlayStation 3 interface icons, peripherals revealed

Sony has taken the wraps off a couple of new peripherals for the upcoming PlayStation 3, as well as giving a sneak peek at the console's interface. The interface looks similar to the PSP's, and will use icons for various settings, such as User, Photo, Video, Music, Game, and Network. The peripherals shown include the Bluetooth Blu-Ray remote, which will hit Japan December 7th for 3,600 yen (US $31), the PS3 Controller (now named the SIXAXIS), which will be available in Japan for 5,000 yen (US $43) on November 11th, and the USB Memory Card Adaptor which will be necessary to move PSOne/PS2 game saves over to the hard drive from legacy memory cards. The adapter will sell for 1,500 yen (US $13).
