In the April issue of Official PlayStation Magazine, ZD Media's John Davidson gives 3 predictions for the PS3 launch. He predicts the launch will be "November in the United States" and that "it won't be a penny over $399.99," obviously because of the problems that could be caused by pricing the PS3 higher than the already-established Xbox 360.
He also mentions the controller, saying that since it has no room for a battery pack, the final design will probably look more like the Dual Shock design of the PS2 controller. Finally, he mentions that the launch will be limited, with only a few games available and that "the real jaw-droppers on the system aren’t going to be shown until E3 in 2007." As with all predictions, take these with a grain of salt.
