Need for Speed: Shift Car List

This fall, there is another automotive simulator launching on consoles, from the unlikeliest of sources. After several years of increasingly unrealistic arcade racers, Electronic Arts says that its new game, Need for Speed: Shift, will put the focus back on realism, sporting real-world cars with real-world physics and handling. Of course, before there were Gran Turismo and Forza, Need for Speed on the PC was the closest thing we got to really sitting behind the wheel of some of the most exotic supercars, so this return to realism is somewhat of a return to roots for this long-running franchise.\n\nAll in all, there will be 65 total cars included in Shift. This is not nearly as many as the number of cars in Forza 3, or even the list of cars in Gran Turismo PSP, but on the other hand, Electronic Arts has something that Polyphony Digital doesn't: a licensing agreement with Porsche. There are also some Lamborghinis, a Koenigsegg CCX, and a Pagani Zonda that have us all hot and bothered.
