ModNation Racers: Rocking New Video

ModNation racers is one of those games that sort of snuck up on us. Following its initial reveal last year, we were mostly unimpressed by this seemingly simple kart racer. But since that time, the game's full vision has become apparent, and we are now super excited to get our Mod on later this month. Similarly to LittleBigPlanet, everything in this game can be customized. You can slap decals and new outfits on your Sackboy Stig, modify your car, and even create new tracks with the simple track painting tool. The amount of user-created content will likely make this title an incredible value for those who like to share their challenges with friends.

The rocking gameplay video below shows off some of the beautiful graphics, as well as some roughhousing between racers on the course.

ModNation Racers will launch for both the PS3 and PSP systems on May 21st.
