Metal Gear Solid 4 Price Dropped to $29.99

Happy birthday to Metal Gear Solid 4, which turns one year old today. Konami will be celebrating all week long with new announcements in the Metal Gear franchise planned for each day. This morning, it was announced that MGS4 will join Sony's greatest hits lineup, and will have its price reduced to $29.99 USD accordingly. This is a great deal on a game that is easily one of the standout exclsuives for the Playstation 3. We can't imagine there is a single console owner out there who hasn't walready played Kojima's epic finale to the Metal Gear Solid series, but if you missed it the first time, this is a perfect opportunity to pick up the game. In our original review of Metal Gear Solid 4, we praised it for its graphical fidelity, innovative stealth system and epic story. The final chapter in the saga of Solid Snake sends him around the world in pursuit of his arch nemesis, Liquid Ocelot. Armed with new gadgets and abilities, Solid Snake must use an ongoing battle in his favor, using the chaos of the battlefield to infiltrate deep into enemy territory. In his final mission, Snake must travel deep into enemy locations in the Middle East, South America, and other corners of the earth to foil Liquid Ocelot's plans for total world domination.
