Logitech has unveiled it's first PlayStation 3 accessory, the Logitech ChillStream controller for PlayStation 3. The controller features a built-in cooling system designed to keep the players' hands cool and dry while playing. The ChillStream has a built-in 40 mm fan that circulates up to 3.41 cubic feet of air every minute, while staying very quiet, and has three settings of high, low, or off. The Logitech ChillStream controller for PlayStation 3 will be available alongside the console in November, and will sell for $39.99.
“The PlayStation 3 is sure to be a powerful gaming platform and we are pleased to offer a range of peripherals available at launch,” said Ruben Mookerjee, Logitech´s director of product marketing for gaming. “And by extending our ChillStream technology to a controller designed for PlayStation 3, we are able ensure that gamers will have the best experience and play with one of the most advanced technologies on the market.”
In addition, Logitech announced that the Driving Force Pro wheel, the Driving Force EX wheel and the Logitech USB headset will all be compatible with both PlayStation 3 and legacy PlayStation 2 titles played on the PS3. (ChillStream for PlayStation pictured below.)
