Limited Edition Final Fantasy VII PS3

We still don't have a Final Fantasy VII remake, but Sony and Square Enix are teasing us with this gorgeous FFVII limited edition PS3. The new PS3 console called 'Cloud Black' will come individually numbered and packaged with the film Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children on BluRay. The movie will also contain a playable demo for Final Fantasy XIII, which is sure to get some folks excited. The gunmetal grey PS3 will be available exclusively in Japan starting April 16th, for the price of 49,980 Yen ($550 USD).

Sadly, it appears that the limited edition hardware is just a marketing stunt by Square Enix and Sony to sell more copies of the Advent Children movie. However, maybe they will surprise us and announce a Final Fantasy VII remake to go along with the new console? We can only hope.
