Kutaragi on PS3 competition: 'We do not care'

In a brief interview with MCV, Ken Kutaragi responded to a question on whether or not he was worried about the Xbox 360 or Wii outpacing the upcoming PlayStation 3. He said simply, "We do not care." He did admit that they were still experiencing difficulties with the manufacturing of the Blu-Ray drive. “Right now, it is an issue, because we can’t manufacture enough blue laser diodes for our PlayStation 3s. But we will resolve that," Kuaragi stated. Sony's Phil Harrison also made assurances that launch titles for the system are close to being ready, stating that they were in the Quality Assurance phase of development.
