Konami recently debuted a new trailer at E3 07 for Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, the newest game in Hideo Kojima's legendary tactical espionage action series for the PLAYSTATION3 computer entertainment system. Featuring the first-ever presentation in English as well as displaying stunning real time graphics and new revelations in the ongoing Metal Gear saga, the trailer offers a glimpse into one of the most anticipated video games of all times.

Setting the stage for an unforgettable story, this latest Metal Gear Solid 4 trailer depicts the desperate state of the future as seen through the eyes of an older Solid Snake. With the world in a state of crisis, Old Snake must infiltrate a variety of locations across the globe, including the Middle East and South America. The trailer features a variety of returning characters from previous Metal Gear Solid games, including Meryl Silverburgh and Raiden. The new footage also confirms the return of iconic Metal Gear Solid 2 boss character - Vamp.

Returning to voice Solid Snake in an original script by Hideo Kojima, David Hayter will be joined by returning voice actors Paul Eiding, Quinton Flynn, Phil LaMarr, and Pat Zimmerman who will continue their work as the voices of Roy Campbell, Raiden, Vamp, and Liquid Ocelot respectively. Kris Zimmerman will also return to the Metal Gear Solid series to direct the voice acting sessions for the game.

"With an immensely talented staff of editors, voice over directors, sound designers, and voice talent, I'm confident that Metal Gear Solid 4 will set a new standard in stylized localization for games coming out of Japan," said assistant producer, Ryan Payton at Kojima Productions. "This E3 trailer is just the first taste of our efforts, and we can't wait to show it off."
