What a bunch of bull, do they know what the other companies are working on? Do know what each other are doing? What claim for Microsoft to make, it anger me. I am still going to play all the games anyway.

Halo 3 sold over 10 million units, ODST which is regarded a relatively poor spin-off sold now over 3.6 million and is still selling well. Halo: Reach is being pumped up as the Biggest thing in the Halo universe which gives it the potential to outsell Halo 3.

God of War 2 only sold a little over 2.5 million, not bad at all, but that don't even come close halo numbers, and don't forget the ps3 base is smaller then the ps2 base and Gow 2 sold worse then gow 1,(and the psp game sold even worse) leading us to believe GOW 3 won't sell half as well as Halo:Reach. Mark my words because I said it first.

How much did the God of War games sell? How many copies did Halo 3 sell? My moneys on Bungie.

I'm confident that Halo:Reach may sell more than any other game next year, and I'm sure it'll also be very very good. But that doesn't necessarily make it the biggest game next year.

if this site was keeping up on current events, they would know that Geoff Keighley a very

prominent game journalist and lover of PS3 made the comment first and also said none of it is CG

in the upcoming trailer it is in realtime, hip hop gamer said it was great looking and that the

new x-engine development tools on xbox 360 is 1gig of mem now matching the 1gig mem in P(ee)S3's

Edge tools (yeah 360 was blasting ps3 without using all of it's memory) 3rp party has the kits

also watch Natals graphics at launch. After all of this then Greenberg said what he said. ON Top

off that Halo Reach is using a new graphically superior ENGINE this time around. KEEP in mind

that Halo 3 and ODST was 640p, Modern Warfare 1 and 2 were both 600p verified by Their

developers. More than 50 percent of 360 owners bought HALO 3 at launch, less than 20% of P(ee)S3

owners bought Metal Gear Solid 4 and Uncharted 2, less than 10 percent, Resistance 2 less than

10%, Resistance 1 1ess than 20%, Killnone 2 less than 10 percent .Just look at Killnone and

Halo's tail growth,Halo 3 is currently at the 30% range and still outsells Killnone even though

it's 2+ years old and is above the 10 million mark in sales(50%-30%). Killnone 2 is currently at

2.12 million in sales, less than 10 percent,Even ODST is already past 10% of Sony system sales

and its just an add on. So why can't REACH own 2010. MAYBE If P(ee)S3 owners put their money

Well first we need to ask if its better than Halo 3? If no, then it isn't better than the games listed. If yes, then it isn't better than the games listed.

The first Halo game was pretty awesome, its what made me buy my Xbox (although I hardly played on it).

The second Halo game was cruddy but the multiplayer made up for it.

The third Halo game was a piece of crap but the multiplayer made up for it. Then the 10 year olds came along and ruined it! And a few months later COD4 MW came out so the multiplayer on Halo 3 was the best in the industry for 3 months.

Halo Wars was a muthafuckin piece of shit! That is all I have to say.

Halo 3 ODST was a constipated Satan!!!! The story was the worst of all of 2009. Firefight was an unfinished turd. The multiplayer was alright BUT everyone already had the map packs! I went to my local game to trade it in and there were about 50 copies in the preowned section and 4 other people in the line were also trading it in.

And when you think about it, Halo is just a gay guy with a retarded helmet that can jump 500m in the air and only has 2 decent guns.

And Halo Reach is an overhyped duck vagina!

LOL, Halo is one of the worst selling games in the history of this planet. There have been 6 Gran Turismo games released on consoles selling 53 million games. There have been 5 Halo games selling 24 million, pathetic!

I personally rather play something that I will enjoy, than something that was made to appeals to the masses (ages 6-99).to me halo has the same problem that the new Star Wars movies had, they were made to appeal to all ages and so fell short in reaching movie greatness(not that i didnt like them) but definitely not movie history.

halo was only good the first time you finish the game the rest is like trying to wake up in the morning nothing new or unexpected happens the second time around ,it's more of a rental game than anything else

The Halo franchise has not been impressive since Halo 2, and when you compare Halo 3 and its DL content disk with the likes of Killzone 2, than you can see just how much does Microsoft invest on their precious gold mine. Minimum investment:maximum profit ratio is really working for them, thanks to the blind following they have.

If we want a badass FPS experience, than thats why we'll have BFBC, and with CODMW2, Halo has become irrelevant.

are you joking? There is no way halo reach will sell less than GRan Tourismo. There are only 4 halo games. Halo 1 and 2 were each owned by 1/3 of xbox owners and 1/3 of xbox owners have halo 3. Odst has only been out for 3 months and has surpsasased 3 million. Meanwhile there have been 10 Gran Tourismo on ps1 and ps2 which have much higher number of consoles sold compared to xbox and 360. Discounting odst because it has been out for only 3 months how is 26 million form halo 1+2+3 pathetic. That give it an average of over 8 million per games. Very imprssive considering console base numbers. More impressive that GT 5.3 million average per game

@David: I my self may be excited for GT5, but it won't sell anywhere near as good as Halo will. GT just isn't the most popular sim racer anymore. And if we are gonna go by sales, Halo gains more with every main release, while GT actually is starting to lose with each main release.

So wait, biggest game of 2010 as in critics or sales? And if there's anything Sony has to match Halo: Reach in terms of sales, it's Gran Turismo 5. But I think the next Call of Duty is going to dominate in sales once again.

I am a very picky gammer, and the god of war series is one of the few titles that thoroughly impresses me. Halo has fun multiplayer but lacks in every other way. To say that the next halo will be bigger than GOW3 is nuts.

That one guy's right..Halo does make Xbox..strip it away, and what does it have? On PS3's internet browser alone i can download free music, movies, and t.v. shows directly from the browser to the PS3. Almost any game that comes out, i can play, becuz they multi-platform them. Not as many people play online, but guess what? Its free. The menu is so much easier to navigate, and the ps home app is the best avatar sim to date. Not to mention exclusives like 1. God of War, 2. InFamous, 3. Little Big Planet, 4. Grad Turismo, 5. (they should be announcing it at E3) Twisted Metal, 6. Team Ico's The Last Guardian. Yea, you can have halo. Btw, how does it feel to either pay an extra $30 to make your controllers rechargable, and $60 to have wireless internet..I've never even seen an ethernet cable, or brought a battery even close to my controller. How ab this, fanboy? You keep your slightly better graphics on some games, Halo, and your online play, and Ill keep my free downloads thanks to the internet browser, my awesome ps exclusives, my out-of-the-box rechargable controllers, and my out-of-the-box wireless internet..b.t.w if you do own an X-box, go get on a computer so you can read this post, Ill be checking for responses via my PS3 internet browser

Personally, I am a huge fan of CoD, but to say that Halo Reach wont be good or do good in sales means that you're a fanboy moron. There is no way GoW is going to make more sales than halo and GT and FF13 shouldnt even be in this conversation because it wont even come close to selling as much (regardless of it being good or not).

It won't take all that much to out do God of War 3 critically, and commercially. I haven't even had GoW 3 for a full weak now, and I am finding myself forgetting that I can actually play it. It almost feels sacrilegious to say this but a game published by EA actually managed to kick a Sony mascots' @$$. Mass Effect 2 is still the best so far of 2010, and Grand Turismo 5 will never out do it. MS is in a rather fortunate situation this year since they only really have their own exclusives as competition.

i wouldnt say much about gears of war 3 being able to destroy ps3 bcuz gears 2 was sort of a let down for me. as for halo reach, it will dominate in sales and critics. from all the previews and gameplay videos and interviews, critics are already hinting at very great game due to how much attention its getting and the amount of innovations to gameplay and graphics. i've played all ps3 exclusives and they do bring me in the frst week of launch but they never hold me in. i have only played god of war 3 merely 4 hours and im already bored of it, got repetetive. only 2 games tht held me onto ps3 was killzone 2 and uncharted 2, their multiplayer was stellar and top notch and graphics were outstanding, but halo reach looks extremely promising. as for best game of the year, i'd say it will be leading the charge for gameof the year, only ps3 title i believe that has a shoe in will be god of war 3, for its graphics and the hype,and heavy rain i've heard is a good game.

Look, Halo is what XBox is made of. Halo has sold 29 mn copies for 5 games. That's about 4.8 mn copies per game. Also, Halo: CE and Halo 2 are on PC. Halo 3 will also be released on PC by 2011. Meanwhile, GT franchise has sold 53 mn copies for 6 games and that's about 9 mn copies per game. Add the PS3's other features, this fight is a no brainer. Cry all you will about Gears of War 3 or Fable 3 but they can't beat the upcoming PS3 titles. XBox was the consle of 2005-2009. Now is the time of the PS3. I am myself a Halo fan but I can't fight facts and logic.
