Halo Reach and Bungie: Could This Be Master Chiefs First PS3 Outing

Ahoy there! I have been riding the sea that is the internet and I keep seeing rumors suggesting that Bungie may be broadening their horizons; and the idea of development on the PS3 is something that could be a possibility.

The idea for me sounds a little far-fetched because for Microsoft to release their most successful franchise without a fight would go against the business practices of Microsoft. The Halo Universe is the finest game on the 360.
The Bungie team has steered gently around the question when challenged about the possibility of making a PS3 game. I think it's interesting and quite a thought to endure really, I mean would the earth continue to spin if Halo was seen running on PS3.
Since the company parted from Microsoft, it is a real option, what with the PS3 user base being a vast area of business that they have yet to tap into. They could really make waves here. I would say that you won't see a Halo game on PS3 ever, with the idea of a Halo game appearing on a Sony Console as near impossible. However things do change and it is a real possibility. E3 2010 anybody...?
