GameStop Corp., in partnership with Machinima.com, recently announced the launch of the "GOD OF WAR II Kratos' Challenge," a competition where consumers create their own 2-minute adaptation of GOD OF WAR II, the critically acclaimed Greek mythological adventure from Sony Computer Entertainment America. Based on viewer-choice, one lucky grand prize winner will be awarded a $750 GameStop gift card and various GOD OF WAR II accessories.

Until April 9, consumers may submit their Machinima, a custom video recording of game play, including content and music from GOD OF WAR II at http://www.gamestop.com/gow2. Submissions must be in a WMV, MOV or AVI format, maximum file size of 30 mb and maximum length of 2 minutes.
Between April 14 and April 27, visit http://www.gamestop.com/gow2 to watch the top 10 video submissions and vote for the best of the best.

"GameStop is thrilled to offer our consumers a new opportunity to feature their creativity and gaming skills," said John Brittell, GameStop's Vice President of E-commerce and Direct Marketing. "Consumer-generated content continues to grow in popularity and Machinima created with GOD OF WAR II highlights the best of cutting-edge game play."

Kratos' Challenge is the first of two events for GameStop and Machinima.com marking the launch of GOD OF WAR II. Visit http://www.gamestop.com/gow2 between April 1 and April 30 to enter for a chance to win GameStop gift cards, a PlayStation 2 Silver console system and more in the GOD OF WAR II sweepstakes.
