GameFlavor Network Hiring Assistant Editor

Who we are looking for:
Due to recent growth, the GameFlavor Network is currently seeking a dynamic Assistant Editor/SEO person to help develop and grow our online network. In this junior part-time role, He/she will be responsible for writing videogame content and carrying out various promotional activities. The candidate will liaise with the Senior Editor to research new article topics and maximise SEO potential from content. We are looking for someone who is passionate about video games, is plugged into a wide online social network of other gamers and knows a thing or two about online marketing.

Requirements:

• Excellent writing and communication skills, including the ability to write in a range of voices and styles
• Candidates must have minimum of 1 year online publishing experience and knowledge of online marketing programs and/or technology, traffic analysis/generation, link building, and emerging media platforms.
• Familiar with online media, and related technologies; online and offline direct marketing
• Experience of CMS tools desirable but not a must
• Please note that basic HTML and photo editing skills are required
• Computer skills: MS Office, Internet research
• Passionate about writing, SEO and internet marketing
• Self-motivated with a keen enthusiasm for and demonstrable understanding of the Web industry and technologies.

Job Responsibilities:

• Contribute strategically to the growth and direction of the network by developing and implementing SEO strategy.
• Other duties and projects as assigned by management
• Write 4-6 articles per week
