First Details on Assassin's Creed 2

In the first Assassin's Creed, it was endlessly annoying that Altair could die so easily in water, especially for someone who could ordinarily beat Death in a staring contest. In Assassin's Creed 2, the main character will be able to swim. That's it. That's the only thing we know about this sequel, other than the fact that it is under development. We still don't know anything about the plot, the identity of the main character, or even the location where the game will be set. The news was broken by an Australian gaming site, while interviewing Ubisoft's David Wilkinson about the new Prince of Persia. Toward the end of the interview, Wilkinson let slip that he had "seen animations of Altair swimming".

You really ought to stop reading right here, because there won't be any more information revealed about Assassin's Creed 2 in the rest of this post, I am just filling in the space with fluff so that it doesn't look weird on the page. Really. As the famous Ferris Bueller once said, "go away... shoo!"
