Final Fantasy 7 Port Coming to PSN, PS3 Version Possible

The venerable and often correct Surfer Girl already reported on a Playstation Network version of FF7 coming next year. A few enhancements will be made, most likely just making the graphics less blocky and tweaking some glitches. Though we hear that if the PSN versions sells well enough, Square Enix will put money into a full-fledge PS3 version of the game. FF7 fanboys, you know what to do!!
We are happy to update that this rumor has in fact proved true: Square Enix just released a version of Final Fantasy 7 on the PSN. The only problem? The game is currently only available in Japan.
