EGM Explains Why Lair Sucks

Big thanks to the guys at Gamerscreed for digging this one up. Here's what they discovered about what EGM (who gave Lair a 5.5 out of 10) liked and hated

GOOD
Motion control was cool.
The ground combat was well done.
No mention of frame rate indicating it was stable.
Epic scope of the game.

BAD
Dragon was a re- skinned x-wing
The dragon shooting fireballs was odd and wasn’t realistic enough
The game had no map
Graphics were “High Def”
Didn’t like the colors used,everything was brown and grey.
Didn’t like the art style and said the game lacked innovation.

There you have it. Lair sucks @$$ not because the gameplay isn't good (it is) not because the frame rate sucked (it didn't) but because they wished the dragon was an x-wing, they think that dragons shooting fireballs wasn't realistic enough (yes, those dragons's fireballs are just too unrealistic.) There was no map (that one's a valid complain) and they didn't like the art style or the colors used. (we all know the dark/middle ages were just birmming with lush, vivid imagery that would make Okami look like a black and white sitcom. Take this review for what it's worth.
