This will likely be a gem for gamers who cherish quality platformers, a genre which in this gaming industry does not receive much love anymore. Early previews of the game have looked fantastic, and Sly Cooper appears poised to have a huge adventure for us all in 2012.

4. Twisted Metal

Another huge exclusive release that will hit the Sony PS3 in 2012, the franchise which took the gaming industry by storm on the original PlayStation is ready to make another comeback. Twisted Metal is returning and is ready to show why it is the de facto car combat experience, and why the genre still deserves space in your gaming library.
