EA Sports Complex Added to Home
Electronic Arts has given us a big reason to log on to Sony's Home service once again. The global software company has created a massive "Sports Complex" to showcase some of the many games that the publisher has coming to the PS3. The new environment takes full advantage of Home, by integrating minigames, trailers, and other promotional materials into the space. Right now, the EA Sports Complex is only available to Home users in North America and Europe, but the company is working on bringing the update to other territories soon.
EA has said that they plan to improve the Sports Complex even more in the future, but for now there are two main activities for denizens of Home. You can sit down and play Texas Hold'em Poker against 8 other players in the special poker tournament space. Down below, you can race with 4 players in a formula one driving minigame.
Later on, EA plans to include a golf driving range, a rewards system for the poker tournament, and game- specific achievements.
