David Guetta DLC for DJ Hero Tempts Our Wallets

DJ Hero has just recently launched, and Activision is already planning some downloadable content to entice us into opening our wallets again. The game is known for being expensive, causing plenty of grumbles around the GameFlavor office. The regular version of the game goes for $120 and comes with a plastic turntable peripheral. Truly dedicated fans can pick up the DJ Hero Renegade Edition, which includes a copy of the game, a premium Renegade turntable controller, hardshell turntable carrying case and an exclusive CD set featuring new tracks by Jay-Z and Eminem. Of course, for your money you do get a pretty impressive list of over 93 songs, no matter which version you pick up.

Today, Activision announced that it will release a three song DLC back on November 24th, from one of the hottest house DJ's in the world, David Guetta. Joining his french compatriots Justice and Daft Punk, David Guetta Mix Pack 01 will contain remixes of three latest tracks which are currently tearing up the airwaves and dance floors around the world. The songs features in the DLC pack are 'When Love Takes Over' featuring Kelly Rowland, 'Sexy Chick' featuring Akon and the less impressive 'On The Dance Floor' featuring will.i.am and apl.de.ap of the Black Eyed Peas. Perhaps we are alone in thinking that the Black Eyed Peas contributions are the weakest ones on Guetta's latest album, but we absolutely love the other two tracks.

The David Guetta DLC pack will cost 480 Microsoft points or $5.99 on the Playstation Store, making it ALMOST worth it if you are huge French techno fan like us.

Speaking of techno, check out a recent interview we had with Paul Van Dyk, Who is also featured on the DJ Hero setlist.

Who wouldn't want to roll like a French DJ?
