Not personal issues, mind you, development issues and with both platforms. Seems like, despite evangelical preaching from Microsoft and Sony, that their systems are not perfected, ultimate gaming machines.
"Both have their own challenges. Right now we have a big challenge on the 360 to make it fit on a DVD, to put five languages, to put all the data on eight gigs. On the Blu-ray side we're really good, but then the memory is quite different. How we handle memory is really different between the two machines and we're struggling right now on the PS3." says Desilets.
Will the PS3's unusual way of handling memory cause an unstable frame rate? The architeture of the system is different from anything devs have had to do before. Experience is the best tool to attack the PS3 but with the game's release on the horizon, will the devs be able to get around this hurdle? Pretty graphics are great, but if the game stutters like my old pinto, it'll be near unplayable. Only time will tell. No doubt these issues will be ironed out by release time. (which is next month, may I add)
