Assassins Creed, Bioshock, and Super Mario Galaxy among Golden Joystick Nominees

How do we choose between such a fantastic lineup of titles to vote for only one Ultimate Game of 2008? That is precisely what this year’s Golden Joystick awards committee is asking fans to do.

The UK-based award is the longest-running video game industry prize and is quite an honor to receive, with past winners including Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and Gears of War. Fans are invited to participate in the process and can vote on their favorites among the finalists chosen by the awards committee.

This year, however, fans have perhaps the most difficult choice to make. There is not one standout title among a flock of great games which include Mario Kart Wii, Bioshock, Metal Gear Solid 4, Portal, and Grand Theft Auto IV.
