Zone of the Enders 3 Rumor

Hideo Kojima is famous for Metal Gear Solid, but he is also known around the anime and mecha-loving community for his Zone of the Enders games. The last one, Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner, was a compelling game released on the PS2 in 2003, but six years is a long drought for such a frenetic and adrenaline fueled action series.

Metal Gear Solid 4 has come and gone, freeing up Kojima for new projects. Seems like he is expressing renewed interest in the ZoE universe. During the recent Metal Gear Solid Integral podcast he engaged fans to gauge their demand for the series' return .

Konami's Aki Saito hinted at the possibility of a sequel by suggesting, "If there's so many people wanting to see Zone of the Enders, why not put the priority on top, a little further up, you know, but we just want to know."

Adding fuel to the flame, Saito wanted listeners to "make sure you write your comments and we'll check your comments out."
