What makes a good fighting game? The roster! Exactly! The roster is the the soul of the entire franchise and creates the dynamics for the plot. Basically, a fighting game's roster is the equivalent to a sports team lineup. Without the characters, what's to love about the game?

Everyone loves a hero, but everyone needs an evil to overcome. This yin-yang balance ignites the passion we have for the characters, the thrill to play as part of them, and the satisfaction we receive when victory is ours! So with anticipation of the top two fighting game sequels, Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe (expected release November 30, 2008) and Street Fighter 4 (expected release February 3, 2009), we will keep you posted on their rosters as details are revealed.
