We have to commend Sony and Incognito on their untiring support for Warhawk. The developers have continued to release great downloadable content and free updates for the title long after its release, keeping the online community vibrant and committed. Now, fans have even more content to look forward to, with the upcoming "Fallen Star" expansion pack. The downloadable content includes a new multiplayer battlefield called "Tau Crater" and an all new playable vehicle (aptly) called the Icarus rocket pack. Besides letting us play out our wildest Iron Man fantasies, the rocket pack is an interesting addition that will surely bring some new tactical possibilities to the already spectacular gameplay in Warhawk. The Fallen Star expansion arrives on Thursday, August 28 for the price of $7.99.
In addition to the dowloadable content, Sony and Incognito also have some great free updates planned for the game. Beginning today, the 1.5 patch will add support for trophies and customizable in-game music. According to Sony, there will be 56 trophies to collect in the game, spread accross the core pack and each of the three downloadable expansion packs. Some of the trophies are retroactive, so go grab that update now to see if you've already earned anything! In addition, players who download the patch will also be able to compete in two new modes, called "Hero" and "Collection", respectively.

Get airborne with the Icarus Mk. 1 Rocket Pack, available with the Fallen Star Expansion pack.
