The Beatles: Rock Band Wants Your $250
The stars have aligned (read: intense negotiations have come to an end).
Beatles Mania may begin anew.
Apple Corps LTD., Harmonix and MTV Games bring you The Beatles: Rock Band. The game will land on 9/9/09 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii. It will be packaged in a Limited Edition Premium bundle for $250 (all platforms) and the gear will be "modeled after instruments used by John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr throughout their career." The standalone guitars will be priced at $100.
Prior owners of Rock Band games will be glad to hear that The Beatles: Rock Band will be compatible with all previous Rock Band instruments and "other current music-based game peripherals." Psst... that means Guitar Hero guitars.
Although there has been no official announcement on what, if any, DLC will be issued, considering the Beatles' extensive music catalog, expect to see a lot of DLC song packs.
