Tales of Monkey Island Run Amok in July

The Monkey Island series was a phenomenal hit back in the point-and-click adventure heydays. Now Telltale Games is reviving the franchise with the release of the first chapter in the ongoing Tales of Monkey Island series in all its episodic glory.

The game once again stars Guybrush Threepwood and promises to spread wall-to-wall pirate mayhem across the seven seas by packing in laugh-out-loud humor. The PC version was just launched on July 7. The game will arrive on the Wii as downloadable WiiWare soon afterwards.

If you think this is the sort of game you absolutely must play, but you claim you're neither an owner of a PC or a Wii, you're a horrible liar. If you claim you're platform agnostic, then maybe we can help you get the game ported over to your preferred console.

The developers are putting out feelers to see if there's sufficient demand for the graphic adventure genre on XBLA or PSN. Telltale Games design director Dave Grossman has already hinted that Tales of Monkey Island may appear on XBLA sometime after its release on PC and WiiWare. Do your part and show your support by downloading the first chapter on PC or WiiWare, or by simply requesting future episodes be released on your preferred next gen console.

Yes I do own a PC, but hate PC games. I have to upgrade my computer too often and therefore lose my games.
PLEASE RELEASE MONKEY ISLAND ON PS3 OR PSP.
BTW - what's with the horrible graphics?
Keep it old school 2D or at least try to make it look half decent...
