Splatterhouse Moves To New House

It's always sad to see a couple divorce; but hey, it's better when it happens before there are kids caught in the mix. That being said, oops! -- Namco Bandai just left a Dear John on Bottlerocket Entertainment's dresser, the studio responsible for the upcoming next-gen remake of Splatterhouse. Yep, Namco all of a sudden just up and got its pregnant self off the couch and took the bun-in-the-oven with it. There has been speculation that an in-house team, makers of the newly released Afro Samurai, is the home wrecker, aka hot-shot, fast-talking car salesman.

According to a Joystiq report, "Last Friday, Namco showed up with a U-Haul truck, took all their assets (dev. kits, etc.) and informed management that the title was being pulled from Bottlerocket."

Namco insists the title will be arriving to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 later this year. Let's hope it was a good move for the baby. I go goo-goo ga-ga for a cute baby. Awww, ain't he cute?
