Resident Evil 5 Collector's Edition Revealed

Capcom announced that the Resident Evil 5 Collector’s Edition will be available on Friday, March 13, 2009. The set will be available at $89.99 for the PS3 and Xbox 360. It will ship in a steel case and include collector's items designed around RE5’s Kijuju setting, such as a Tricell messenger bag, Chris Redfield figurine, BSAA patch and Kijuju-inspired pendant. Inside the steel case is a two disc set including the game and bonus disc featuring The Making of Resident Evil 5 and a digital art gallery.

Anxious Xbox 360 gamers can get their hands bloody early when they try out a two-level demo (Shanty Town and Assembly Place), available exclusively on Xbox 360 for one week beginning Monday, January 26. PlayStation gamers will have to wait till February 2 to get on with the bloodletting. Available now and only on Xbox LIVE is an exclusive high-definition trailer of the game, shown previously at the past Tokyo Game Show in October of 2008.
