Well, perhaps land is not quite the word we were looking for. How about: "Flies over hear like rolling thunder devastating everything in its path?" The retro overhead shooter from Backbone Entertainment is sure to please fans of the original 1942 (as well as the myriad sequels 1941, 1943 and 1944). Joint Strike updates the classic gameplay while remaining true to the sprit of the original, and can be yours for a mere $10.
The premise of Joint Strike remains the same even if the graphics have been updated. Destroying waves of incoming enemy planes grants the player valuable power ups and weapons, which can be used to dispatch the foes which appear on land, sea and air. At the end of each level, players will find a massive boss, usually in the form of a battleship, submarine, or experimental bomber. Rest assured that the bullets will fly, and there will be lots of them.
Joint Strike also ads support for 2-players in cooperative mode, but remember not to hog the spread shot, lest your playing partner get upset. Playing with a friend increases your chances slightly, as you will be able to collectively use a lightning-based super weapon against swarms of foes, a feature that is not available in single-player mode.
This is just a mini-boss
